Commercial Job Title:  Project Manager

Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) years experience is required, of which nine (9) years must be specialized. Specialized experience required includes: complete engineering project development from inception to deployment, demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas and including the use of different technologies; proven expertise in the management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts.  General experience required includes increasing responsibilities in information systems design and management.

Functional Responsibility:  Key contact and interface with the government project Technical Representative. Leads the project or multiple tasks and retains overall responsibility for performance including cost, schedule, deliverables and contractual compliance.  Provides the interface to the customer and other project leaders.  Identifies, acquires, and utilizes company resources to achieve project technical objectives.  Establishes priorities, task assignment and completion. Ensures quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting project/client deadlines and budget constraints.  Serves as the client liaison on all project matters.  Performs a quality assurance role and ensures timely delivery of all specified deliverables.  Identifies all task responsibilities and reports any changes or suggestions according to a senior project manager, program manager, or similar customer representative. Supervises the training of new personnel under the project to assure compliance with government regulations, codes and company policy and procedures.  Participates in contract negotiations.

Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Commercial Job Title:  Senior Applications Engineer

Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of nine (9) years experience is required, of which five (5) years must be specialized. Specialized experience required includes: experience as an applications programmer on large-scale database management systems, knowledge of computer equipment and ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives.  General experience required includes: increasing responsibilities in software engineering activities.

Functional Responsibility: Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.  Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.  Translates project requirements into detailed software designs.  Translates software designs into program code.  Specifications and code may be required across multiple platforms and operating environments to implement Client/Server, internet, and intranet systems.  Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product.  Supports all aspects of testing and debug from user acceptance to integration, and regression testing.  Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.  Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.  Provides technical direction to programmers to ensure project deadlines are met.

Commercial Job Title: Hardware Support Technician

Minimum/General Experience:  B.S. or equivalent education and at least 2 years related experience. 

Functional Responsibility: Performs support for the installation and maintenance of enterprise computing equipment and telecommunication equipment including the installation of the software necessary to support the hardware.  Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and repair computer equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and backup of enterprise computing and telecommunication equipment.
  • Recover data from backup or recover data from corrupt hard drives and create new drive with recovered data.
  • Process all computer equipment and hard drive setup requests for staff. Which includes; creating and or modifying network accounts, testing of equipment, personalization of the equipment and coordinating with the training and distribution center for delivery.
  • Provide second level technical support for the Help Desk Personnel.
